It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of one of YAT's finest and most respected members, Dennis Baker, who died peacefully at his home earlier today (14 September 2007).

He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him.

Den's funeral was held at Randall's Park Crematorium, Randall's Road, Leatherhead, Surrey, KT22 0AG on Thursday 27 September 2007 and afterwards at The Manor House, Church Road, Surrey KT4 7RY.

Hello to all, Lesley, Frances, Paula, Sarah, Eleanor and myself (of course) would like you all to know how much we appreciate the lovely things which were sent and said about Den (and Dad). We are overwhelmed by the knowledge that you liked and respected Den so much and feel very proud to hear that he had, in some way, touched or influenced your lives. We loved him, of course, but to know that so many of our friends in YAT felt such affection and respect for him helps us to reconcile our sadness at losing him. We were very pleased to see so many of you at the funeral yesterday and sincerely hope that you were able to truly celebrate his life, as we did. Luv Eileen and the girls
